I have been reading fantasy while writing science fiction, and under normal circumstances, I’d switch genres right now. But since George R.R. Martin’s popular Game of Thrones is also the next big event from HBO, I thought I would get a quick jump on the series by reading the book. So, if you are following along at home, I have finished The Magicians (and will discuss at length later) and have remained in the fantasy genre.
Here’s a peep at the HBO show. They are staying close to the vest, because half the trailer takes place in the first 25 pages of the book.
Hope I didn’t steer your wrong, sir. It’s certainly a favorite of mine for a host of reasons.
